In 1951, R.C. Parrish founded a modest machining and drilling operation and named it Central Machine & Tool Company (CMT). He formed the company as a jobbing machine shop, but later recognized that manufacturing a set product line would be the key to building a strong reputation and ensuring the company’s long-term success. PT began manufacturing quick connect/disconnect industrial hose fittings in 1955 and began marketing them worldwide in 1960, as products of “PT Coupling”. PT has long been known as a leader in the production of quick connect/disconnect fittings for industrial hoses. PT employs nearly 300 team members through five locations in Oklahoma and one in Mississippi. All team members implement our core values of “T.H.R.I.V.E.” every day.
Following a 1981 renaming to “Parrish Enterprises, Ltd.” continued growth occurred through expanding existing capabilities and acquisition of organizations which fit very closely with the quality manufacturing core competencies established since our founding. In 2001, the company was proud to have accomplished ISO 9001 quality certification which has been maintained for all organizations and facilities since. Each of these organizations maintained their own market identity and separate branding until 2019, when Parrish Enterprises, Ltd. unified all six organizations (Central Machine & Tool, Oklahoma Investment Casting Company, Punch-Lok®, Mississippi Precision Cast Parts, ProGrip®, Specialty Plastics Company) under the name, “PT.” PT strives to serve customers by providing a quality product, on time, at a competitive price. The PT Team believes in giving customers the best customer service they have come to rely on, through full vertical integration, from beginning to end of our manufacturing process (raw materials to finished product), PT is able to provide that service through the efforts of all who are a part of the organization.
PT’s ferrous and non-ferrous foundry, heat treating operation, investment cast foundries, and machine shop facilities produce products from a variety of alloys and materials such as: Aluminum, Brass, Cast Iron, Copper Materials, Ductile Iron, Galvanized Carbon Steel, Plated Carbon Steel, Non-plated Carbon Steel, and Stainless Steel. From our Plastic Injection Molding facility, we can produce our products in a variety of materials such as: Food Grade Polypropylene, Nylon, Polypropylene, and more.
